Taikang Art Museum presents Life Takes Place: Taikang Architecture and the Everyday through Photography in the Era of Longevity

Taikang Art Museum presents Life Takes Place: Taikang Architecture and the Everyday through Photography in the Era of Longevity, an exhibition of new commissions developed through a photographic residency programme. Marking Taikang’s 30th anniversary, the exhibition is organised by Taikang Insurance Group and Taikang Art Museum, and runs from 25 October to 30 November 2026, with free admission.

Twelve artists and collectives from China and abroad undertook residencies at Taikang Tower (Beijing) and in Taikang Community senior living residences in several cities. They spent time with residents and caregivers, observing life on site and using photography to look closely at later life as it is lived.
