Mirrored Summer: “Reflections” Handmade Frame Workshop

In the exhibition “Two Sides of One Coin: Reflection and Transformation”, artist Zhang Lian’s work As Her Echoes depicts a fascinating relationship of mirror images, captivating viewers with its unique perspective and layered depth.

In the “Mirror·Image” Handmade Photo Frame Workshop, we invite participants to explore the exhibition’s content, discovering the recurring mirror elements and interpreting the mysteries of reflection within the artworks. You will be encouraged to take photos with the pieces that resonate with you, capturing a special moment with the exhibition.

During the hands-on creation session, a mirror surface will replace traditional mediums to become your canvas. Using mixed materials, you will create a unique mirror artwork. This will be juxtaposed with your photo from the exhibition, allowing you to explore the self between reality and illusion, and to contemplate the nuances of self-perception.
