This event specially invites three accomplished female guests from diverse fields to share their dual experiences working in both urban and rural settings. They will shed light on the unique challenges and opportunities women encounter in different environments, fostering public understanding and awareness of women’s roles and contributions within multicultural contexts.
The three guests—Mao Yirong, Mo Yang, and Peng Wei—though from distinct professional backgrounds, all share experiences spanning city and countryside.
Mao Yirong frequently travels between Beijing and rural areas nationwide, documenting and disseminating stories of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers. Mo Yang conducts academic research in the city while simultaneously engaging in field excavations in rural locales. Peng Wei promotes artistic development in the countryside while also participating in urban art projects and events. These three women play significant roles in their respective fields, driving progress in their industries through their dedicated efforts. Their sharing will infuse the ancient philosophical theme of “Is It One or Two?” with vibrant contemporary life experiences.
