This is the story of a young man whose grandfather is Dai Ze, a renowned representative of China’s second generation of oil painters. In recent years, he has dedicated himself to exploring and promoting his grandfather’s artistic legacy. He specifically chose the path of IP collaborations, allowing the “charming soul” of this centenarian artist to find new life and relevance.

For this edition of “One Lunch Hour,” we have invited Dai Meng, the grandson of the artist Mr. Dai Ze. He will share with us the “heartwarming” aspects behind managing an IP. As the director of the Dai Ze Art Foundation and Dai Ze Art Studio, Dai Meng has spent the last five years bridging his grandfather’s artworks with contemporary streetwear brands through IP management.
