One Lunch-Hour | “Unfold the Origami”–A Journey into Spatial Imagination

Typically, painting and architecture are considered separate fields—the former a representative of planar art, while the latter involves three-dimensional space and practical considerations. Zhang Miao, a graduate of the Oil Painting Department at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, seeks to transcend the boundaries between the two. His work Hanging Rooms-S, featured in the inaugural exhibition “Intervention,” embodies this exploration.

In this one-hour sharing session, the artist will guide us through “Unfolding Origami” to offer a new understanding of the relationship between two-dimensional and three-dimensional space.
